Q: are these standard replacements or are there varying sizes of door knobs? i'd like to replace the gold coloured builder installed door knobs with silver coloured ones and wondering if these are standard sizes and can quickly be replaced thanks

A: Yes, the overwhelming majority of doors accept the door hardware available at retailers like Canadian Tire. The door preparations are "standard" as are the door locks.
