Excellent door lock.

This is a great door lock. We had some troubles with an older Schlage electronic lock, but this one seems a lot better built. So far it's holding up really well in -30C temperatures here.. automatic locking mechanism (on button press) is working perfectly. Only thing I will say is like others, I didn't realize you need some smart hub of some sort to make this work from an app.

Bought this yesterday thinking it was defective as my door was different from out of the box, however, if you follow the instruction carefully it should be easy to install and make changes as describe on the manual or watch YouTube for installation. Additionally, the only downside is it doesn't come with Schlage Wifi Adapter to connect through your Phone as I don't have them yet. Hopefully, in the future they both have it as a combination. Happy with the purchase so far as I got it on sale!

Q: Does this model specifically have an auto-lock feature after x time of inactivity like other models?

A: Auto-lock is an option built in to this lock. The default setting is “off”, but it can be enabled to lock itself after 30 seconds. This is function #9 in the user guide if you are programming the lock manually. This function may or may not also be available if the lock is enrolled with a service provider like Wink, Samsung Smart Things, Honeywell etc.
