Worthwhile Smart Lock

Excellent quality abs finish. Relatively easy to install, although the tolerances for the deadbolt strike plate are tight (ultimately a good thing). I bought 2, have installed 1, and am happy. If you don’t have a wifi adapter, an iPad or AppleTV work as a HomeKit hub; just make sure you’re Schlage deadbolt is close enough for a strong Bluetooth signal.

No key, no problem

Works well. I like the feature of auto locking after a specified time (I think there is a 4 minute maximum). Lock is solid, but not as easily connected to my intranet as i would have thought. Appatently it needs a second connector unit that needs to be bought seperately.

A: I’m using Nest over here. I can’t figure out if it’s compatible that our with Apple HomeKit. I’m worried that it’s a beast compatible with itself only, albeit it does that very well!
