Pizza chip wont lock or move to close the latch and wont let me rewrite the code sequence

Would be nice if the safe actually locked.. brand new, out of the packaging wont let me turn the lock to lock it or reset the code… guess thats why theyre so cheap.
Doesnt turn at all and most places will not accept returns that have been opened or used. So im stuck with a tin book with no paper in it and doesnt even lock to keep my things safe when I need it to do just that. Safewell, should be called unsecure booksafe with no locking ability or turning the knob at all.
Cheap useless fake safe book that doesnt stop anyone from accessing.
The thing is absolute junk.
No, I do not recommend this product.
