Great product and finish.

Wasn't very difficult to use or apply even with a brush. Make sure you wash every as soon as you're done or the brush, tray and anything else with the paint on it will be garbage. The fish is just amazing even though it wasn't a very thick product which made it easy to run when applying. Nothing a little wet sand couldn't take care of.

I am going to preface this review by saying that my husband used the product and I have to admit that I may not have been able to do it myself. I had read reviews on other sites that gave the product about 3 1/2 stars out of 5, and am going to guess that the reviews are probably in direct relation to how skilled a handy person you already are. I am utterly thrilled by how gorgeous our tub now looks, and so far it is also holding up really well (about a month now). So if you are skilled with this sort of thing, you will probably also get a great tub if you use this product.

A: Hi Fred, Great question! Our Rust-Oleum Tub & Tile Refinishing Kit is not recommended for cast iron or metal and do not have any product to recommend for this surface. We hope this new information is helpful.
