A: The can says it sticks to plastic and I've used it on all sorts of plastic. So you shouldn't have no problem. It might not last as long on outside items that are damp and get banged up a bit though

Q: How much surface can you cover with one spray can? And do you need more than one coat?

A: Yes you should always apply a minimum of two to three coats. The area will depend on what you are trying to clear coat. You could probably do the front end of a mid sized car or a wall of kitchen cabinets

Q: Can I use on a small area of shingles?

A: Hi Eastender1234, We have not tested our Painter's Touch 2X on shingles and we believe this would not be a suitable application. However, if you decide to still try it, test on a small area first. However, if something were to go wrong, we would not be able to stand behind the product.

Q: Can I use the spray paint for touch up on dry wall ?

A: I really wouldn’t suggest it even though it might work( sort of). It really depends on what’s already on the drywall and how good a finish you want. Using a different type of paint than the original cover usually leaves an obvious change in the finished appearance.

Q: Will this resist sweat? I am planning to customize my gaming mouse and using this as a sealer. My only concern is if it will fade over time.

A: Hi Bram, Our Painter's Touch will resist sweat. However, we recommend 3-4 coats, applied 10 minutes apart to build up the coat. This way it will last longer due to the constant humidity caused by sweat. You may want to recoat overtime to provide the same protection.

Q: before apply the clear do i need apply base color ? is the clear has uv protection ?

A: The clear can be applied on its own, or over a base coat. The clear coat is UV stable on its own.

A: Hi John B, We cannot guarantee our Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Multi-Purpose Aerosol Paint & Primer will cover ceiling tile stains as it is not a stain blocker. We recommend priming first with our Zinsser Cover Stain or use our Zinsser Covers Up Stain Sealing Ceiling Paint.
