RTF's patch and repair mix has grasses that love salt. They're perfect for areas where pets relieve themselves or where roads are treated each winter with de-icers. The hardy grasses will germinate within 6 to 10 days so you can have a lush, green lawn again, even in spots where the ground seems beyond repair. Very Disappointed With This Product

The grass seeds in this package did not sprout at all. I watered them regularly. It even rained often, but 6 weeks after planting the seeds have yet to sprout. Very disappointed!
I brought the empty package and the receipt back to the store, along with photos of the patches of ground with unsprouted seeds taken 5 weeks after planting, but the clerk refused to help me. I asked for the manager but he was never around. Help!

Disappointing Product

Been two weeks and not a single sprout. Using on patches caused by neighbours dog. Ground was properly prepared (cleaned off debris, washed thoroughly, tilled to 1/2", etc) and kept watered. Weather has been good. Have maintained a top lawn for 40+ years so I know what I am doing. Should have bought dollar store stuff instead, Couldn't have been worse and much cheaper.
No, I do not recommend this product.

trying to restore our lawn

we had a number of bare patches after 4 months of level 5 drought this summer. I followed directions with new soil, sand, peat moss and roller -ed after spreading these grass seeds. Watered well after planting. About 50 % of the seeds have started growing after a month. Not to impressed. Not sure I'll purchase more of this product to fill in some other spots in the Spring. Next door used a different grass seed and have about 90% of their new seeds growing. ( they planted the same time I did).
