Blocks light but doesn't save energy

We bought this product to block strong sunlight so it doesn't heat up our room. This product was very easy to install and while it does technically "shade" the room, it unfortunately also absorbs all the heat from the sunlight, releasing it into the room over the day. It is hot to the touch, and it's like having heaters installed on our windows. So in the end it defeats the purpose of us getting this product because it heats up our room the same amount, if not more due to the gradual release. The thermometer also agrees.

Absolutely amazing

I purchased (roommates) window film because of its simplicity on installing. I was amazed at just how easy it was to install compared to doing actual window tint, which can be messy. This product rocks! Definitely be purchasing more products like this from this company. Way to go guys! Somebody finally got it right.
