RED TEK 1234yfhc is an environmentally friendly, cost effective, hydrocarbon refrigerant that is 100% natural organic, non-ozone depleting and non-global warming. RED TEK 1234yfhc alternative refrigerant is formulated exclusively for use in vehicles originally equipped with R1234yf refrigerant. RED TEK 1234yf A/C Recharge Kit comes pre-assembled, ready to use. Recharge hose includes a check valve in the coupler to prevent discharge of product when not properly connected to the vehicle’s A/C system
Ability to change RED TEK refrigerant or additive cans without disconnecting from the vehicle
Self-sealing can valve allows for removal of recharge hose from partially used cans
Equivalent to 16oz of R1234YF refrigerant
Compatible with vehicles equipped with R1234YF refrigerant only
Compatible with SOME vehicles model year 2013-2020 and with vehicles model year 2021 and newer. Verify vehicles refrigerant tag under hood to confirm refrigerant type
This product is NOT compatible with vehicles equipped with R134a or R-12 refrigerant
NOTE: RED TEK 1234yfhc cans and 1234yf recharge hose are left-hand thread
NOTE: Environmental regulations require the air conditioning system be empty of, or properly evacuated of, R134A ,R12, 1234YF refrigerants by certified personnel prior to charging the system with alternative products.

Q: Is RedTek 1234yfHc, 100% 1234yf or it`s a compatible product with 1234yf?
2 years agoA: Hc at the end of refrigerant name means its is a hydrocarbon substitute. They are selling a substitute of real refrigerant. This is deceptive marketing, they should clearly disclose the type of refrigerant.

Q: would it work with BMW X5 2021?
a year agoA: HI there. Refrigerant is based on the gas and not the car. You will need to check the A/C sticker under the hood to find the right gas. Newer cars can be R134A or R1234YF.

Q: Does the attachment fit a 2018 kia sportage? i see there is a connector pin that prevents some people from using it.
a year agoA: Unfortunately, we cannot give specific application guidance. There should be an identification decal under the hood, usually on the front bumper or the hood that will indicate either the system contains either R134a or R1234yf and the original system capacity. For R134a vehicles, please use products labeled RED TEK 12a (our #375 is the equivalent) and for R1234yf vehicles, please use the RED TEK 1234yf products (our #1234).

Q: will this work on my 1999 gmc pick-up?
2 years agoA: The correct RED TEK product for his 1999 GMC Pick-up is CTC #0147911 which is for vehicles with 134a. The other product is for 1234yf A/C systems which are in newer vehicles. The customer can verify by lifting the hood and checking the A/C tag somewhere inside the engine compartment.

Q: Okay, my 2017 Toyota Highlander has a sicker that says R134a on it. Apparently this product does not work with R134a systems. My ac had a repair/replacement about 3 years ago. but again is not blowing cold air. What do I use as 134 i no longer in Canada?
2 years agoA: The customer selected the incorrect product for his vehicle. The RED TEK 12a Kit is required for your vehicle #014-7911. The 014-7927 is used for newer vehicles with 1234yf refrigerant – all 2021 vehicles use 1234yf.
