Q: Is it me or have they added more millet? I had reviewed this product four years back and I don't remember seeing as much millet under the feeder.
5 years agoA: What you are seeing is probably not millet, but wheat. Wheat is a cheap filler seed that companies will put it in to bulk up the product, but it's garbage - no birds eat wheat. Millet, on the other hand, is consumed by many sonbirds, especially white millet. Sometimes it looks like they are not eating it, because they leave behind the husks, but they are.
