Waste of money.

Waste of money. Does nothing. Carefully followed instructions on the bottle, tried om several plastic surfaces. This thing does nothing.

Not as good as theh Original on glass!

I am a Rain X fan but this one for plastic didn't work as well as the original on glass !

A: This works amazing on headlight covers and the taillights. I always apply it before a long road trip; I find it needs to be reapplied depending on the weather conditions but once a week is usually pretty good.

A: Hello Tony, the Rain‑X Plastic Water Repellent provides a superior water beading coating and is formulated for use on various plastics. it is not recommended for use on Glass surfaces. For water repellency performance Rain-X makes our Rain-X Original Windshield Glass Treatment which is available at Canadian Tire stores found by item #038-4128. Thank you

Q: Would this product work on UTV polycarbonate windshield?

A: I use this stuff on my motorcycle visor and windscreen. Both are polycarb, now bead water beautifully and no issues with negative side-effects such as clarity, hazing, cracking etc as can happen when using the glass product on plastic

Q: I've heard that the original formula clouds when used on side mirrors. Will this version work well in side mirrors?
