Easy to handle and less expensive than metal fencing

I am using the wire net fencing to stop wild animals from entering my garden. The product is much easier to handle and much less expensive than an equivalent metal chicken wire. The only question is it as sturdy and effective. Only time will tell.

Very light duty uses only

Extremely lightweight, can't use as a replacement for chicken wire on its own. Purchased for light/ medium duty fencing and it's far too light for thst. Might work for protecting plants in winter as long as the critters don't realize they can easily chew through. I doubt it will last long.

A: Rabbits will chew through this immediately. They'll probably enjoy doing it too. I don't think I bought exactly the same plastic chicken wire but it probably protected my garden for about 30 seconds.

Q: is this just plastic or is it a wire coated with plastic? wonder how easy mice or little critters could chew thru it? we are only looking to use it to hold insulation in our floor outside our cabin, in the floor joists, to keep the floors warmer, thanks

A: This wire is just thin plastic and would be vulnerable to vermin biting through it. I would recommend real metal chicken wire to retain insulation under your floor.
