Queen Anne Chocolate covered cherries

We have been buying these chocolates for years now and up to this year we have never disappointed. When we first started buying them they were on 97cents a box. Understandably the price has gone up to $8.99 a box over the years. We always buy 2 boxes as they are a family favorite. When we opened them the chocolate had gone white in both boxes and we could tell they were not fresh. Needless to say in future we will look around for them in other stores.

These used to be a cheap, but tasty Christmas treat every year in our house. I nearly fell over recently when I bought a box at Canadian Tire and opened it to realize it contained only TEN chocolates. Nearly all of which were glued to the packaging with their own filling so one had to destroy them to get them out. A happy Christmas memory that has evolved into something of extremely poor quality and is dreadfully overpriced. Canadian Tire should ashamed to sell this at over TEN DOLLARS including taxes.

No, I do not recommend this product.
