Q: How many km is this oil good for? I have 2010 VW Golf

A: Hello, We don't have a number for the number of miles or hours an oil can go before being replaced as this would vary depending on the climate, location, environment, driving conditions, etc. We highly recommend checking the owner's manual for the recommended oil drain interval. When you run your engine, your owner's manual should say that if you tend to drive in severe conditions, you can go a certain number of miles/ hours and when you drive under normal conditions, you can go a longer number of miles/ hours. The reason for this is because under normal driving conditions, the oil is under the best conditions to operate (in which it is circulated and does not collect as much dirt and by-products) and therefore you can drive a longer number of miles/ hours. For each oil change interval, you may be driving differently (off-road, up-hill, mostly highways, mostly city miles, a lot of stop-and-go, dusty environments, etc..) and that will automatically change what the oil drain interval will be. Realistically, most drivers tend to fit somewhere in between the two scenarios given in the owner's manual. In closing, we do not have a specific number to tell you to change your oil. Even if we had a number from running our tests, it does not mean it applies to your situation. We recommend sending in a used oil sample for analysis to a lab (Polaris or Balckstone), that way it is specific to your oil and your driving habits as well as to monitor your engine's condition too. Hope this helps.

Q: Since has the BMW LL-04 rating, can it be used in 2015 BMW X3 diesel? (2.0L diesel engine)?

A: Hello Steve, Trust you are well. Upon checking, the vehicle requires Chrysler MS-11106 5W-30 oil. You may use Pennzoil Euro L 5W-30 and not the QuakerState product. Regard, Shell TIC

Q: My 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe with the 2.5L Turbo engine requires 0W30 synthetic oil. Is the Quaker State Euro LX Full Synthetic 0W30 Motor Oil suitable for this vehicle? Or is this oil only for European vehicles?

Q: I accidentally purchased a bottle of this oil for my 2017 Ford F150, 3.5 L Eco-boost. Is this oil safe to use in my vehicle?
4 years agoA: Hello Jeff, Your 2017 Ford F150 3.5L EcoBoost specifies SAE 5W-30 motor oil that meets the requirements for Ford specification WSS M2C946-A. However, Quaker State Euro L Full Synthetic 5W-30 was not formulated to meet Ford WSS M2C946-A -- hence not suitable. Please replace it with the following suitable oils: Quaker State Synthetic Blend SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil; or Quaker State Full Synthetic SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil Thanks for choosing Quaker State. -- Jeff S.
