fair rod, too expensive...

it's a fair rod. It's one solid piece so that makes it stronger, and at 5ft it's short enough to store in a car without too much persuasion. reel feels nice but the spool is comically small and only holds maybe 80 yards of 4lb mono.
it's definitely just a pan fish rod. It would hold up against larger fish, but the spool will run out of line very fast. might put a larger reel on it and move this reel over to an ice rod...
either way, too expensive for what you get.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I hope profishency read this. Saw this rod while walking past. Spent forever to find it, went to another CT and I found it in spinner and baitcaster... but it's not an ultralight, just a medium heavy. I was CRUSHED. Make this an ultralight! It's sexy!
