Q: Would this battery be better in a camper trailer application than a golf cart battery, it has more reserve capacity?
12 years agoA: This battery is a commercial starting battery, so it is built for cranking power, not to withstand deep discharges or cycling. It could be used in your application, but you would get a dramatically shorter lifespan out of the battery. Additionally, this battery is rated at a 320 minute reserve capacity, while the Golf Cart battery (10-2000) has a rated reserve capacity of 480 minutes, so it does in fact have greater capacity. Furthermore, the golf cart battery is a proper deep cycle battery, so it is built to withstand deep discharges and cycling, which means it will have a much longer lifespan in your application.
