I like mixing my own coolant before installing, I use distilled water instead of tap water! But I do mix 60/40 coolant, not 50/50, reason is that water however good, likes pick up metals over time resulting in leaks. Yet, hard water sheds minerals clogging radiator passages, go figure!

Ce liquide de refroidissement en format concentré est très bien, cela permet de faire près de 3 gallons, ce qui va suffire pour -45. C'est très bien à mon avis.

It is good to have concentrate options, when you are flushing a cooling system with water it allows you to get the correct water ratio when refilling.

A: Best advice is to look it up in the user guide of the car. It's very important not to mix coolant fluids.

Q: In the features section of this product it indicates that this is a HOAT coolant. Pretty sure this is NOT the correct information according to Prestone and other distributors. This is an OAT product and the two are not truly compatible.

A: If your machine requires nothing more than an extended life fluid then yes, Dex-Cool Concentrate Antifreeze-Coolant will work. It is an extended life fluid that meets all the ASTM standards. However, without all the specifics required for your vehicle and on the XPS long life fluid you referenced we can not say this is an acceptable fluid. For best results and for exact fluid to be used please reference your owner's manual.

A: Prestone with CorGuard™ Inhibitors is compatible with the antifreeze/coolant in all makes, and all models of cars & light duty trucks, including the a Jaguar XK8. Prestone can be added to any colour antifreeze, and is compatible with all engine metals.

Q: Can I use this for my 2012 Ford Focus Titanium?? I have 2012 Ford Focus Titanium and it says to only use Motorcraft Speciality Engine Coolant, which I cannot find in store, I would have to go to a dealership. Would this be the equivalent?

A: This item is concentrated and you will have to dilute it with de-ionized water. All the instructions are on the package label regarding mixing ratios but you should read everything before doing anything and reference your vehicle’s owner manual to make sure you are diluting to the appropriate ratio.

A: No, this product is made for use in GM Vehicles requiring Dexcool AFC only. You should use 29-3020 Prestone Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant instead as it is designed for all makes and models of vehicles.
