Prestone® is great coolant and freeze protection that has a 3rd benefit, protecting the cooling system from internal damage. Prestone’s proprietary formula protects against buildup, rust and corrosion from occurring, which are things that can damage engine parts and reduce the performance of the cooling system.

Q: Hi. i have 2021 RAV4 XLE with Coolant color PINK/ROSE... My question is... Can this be just added as it is into the existing coolant present in my car? Nothing is required to be done before or after filling?
3 years agoA: I suggest you to buy the Prestone coolant with red cap specified for toyotas. You can use this to add to your existing coolant and make sure the radiator is full and the coolant reservoir is in the right level.

4 years agoA: READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL IT WILL SAY WHAT TO USE, MAYBE YOU CAN I HAD A 2010 TOWN AND COUNTRY, I AM SURE GLAD I DID NOT PUT PRESTONE IN, ON THE JUG IT SAYS GOOD FOR ALL VEHICLES, NOT SO.

Q: Will this work for my Classic American Car? (1972 Nova)
4 years agoA: The coolant capability that your looking for is a coolant rated for IAT spec. Or the original green coolant. I believe this product capability does in fact cover IAT(inorganic acid technology) but make sure! It should stipulate this on the back of the jig! Good luck and take care of that NOVA!
