Good Product - with caveats...

In my experience as a contractor, finding a decent "Black" paint is difficult. This product succeeds very well IF you follow best painting practices. This is a very "rubbery" polymeric product, so if you put it on to thick you will have problems. Picture this, if your coat is too thick the product touching the substrate (wall for example) dries and the external surface dries as well essentially creating a "rubber bottle" that doesn't allow the middle product to dry. This is where you get the "sheets" of paint that pull off in one large piece.
I suggest, thoroughly clean surfaces, very thin coats and a long dry time for each coat. I personally let the coat dry, then sand with 120 grit and let it dry some more. This scratches "the bottle" and lets the internal paint have a better chance at curing.
I personally did have trouble the first time I used it because my coats were applied to thick. Amending my technique gave me a wonderfully black surface that I am pleased with.

Save your money

We bought this for what we thought would be a quick project, an accent wall makeover. We primed our living room wall, and applied our first coat in black. Went on ok, though a little patchy. We thought it’s because we were going from a light colour to a dark colour. The second coat was applied and it remained patchy. We let it dry for a full TWO days and it remained tacky. We turned our heat on and put a fan. It seemed to dry a little better, so we applied what we hoped would be our final coat. The coverage was PATCHY, and currently we sre peeling the entire black paint *IN ONE PIECE* off of our living room wall. Save your money and buy a different brand. This was the second time we purchased this paint - we got a completely different result and we are so disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this product.
