    expensive spark plug remover

Unless you have several vehicles with different sized plugs and you change them every month, this is a rather expensive removal tool. Handle can be a bit awkward to use. The 3 inch extension is not long enough to reach down into deep-set plug seats (like toyota and mitsubishi). The handle provides plenty of leverage but you must remember that you dont need that when changing or putting back spark plugs. Finger tight plus quarter turn should be enough or else you increase the risk of breaking the plugs porcelain. Also, avoid using this when starting to thread the plugs. Use a spark plug insertion tool or a stiff piece of rubber hose. This kit also includes a disk type spark plug gapping tool. I prefer the feeler gauge type
