Won’t fit the Honda GCV150

There’s no star on the drive shaft to lock in the included blade adapter with the blade. The blade adapter won’t fit over the Honda blade adapter. The blade cannot use the Honda blade adapter because the bolt slots are a fraction too small for the Honda bolts. In short, I have wasted my day trying to get this thing to fit and I hate it. Says it fits a Honda on the box. It does not. I suppose you could bolt the blade directly to the drive shaft but that seems dangerous.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It can be used for cutting as well. However I'd switch out to your normal cutting blade as it sharper. You don't need to dethatch your lawn every time you cut.

Q: I recently bought this product, the diagram shows 6 holes on either side of the blade. Mine only has 4 per side, is this norrmal?

A: Thank you for your question. You have likely purchased the 19-in/20-in model of the Power Rake which is a slightly shorter version of the blade with four dethatcher-line holes at each end. It will aslo work just fine with your mower, it simply covers a slightly narrower path per pass.

A: This Power Rake is Universal fit for most 21” and 22” Gas lawnmowers including units powered by Honda GCV engines. However it does not fit Honda Harmony models, Lawn-Boy BBC, or Toro Recycler models with Atomic Blade.
