Q: How do you change the batteries?

A: Hi Sheri, to change the batteries you simply unscrew the bottom of the flashlight (where the on/off button is) once you take the that off, the battery cartridge should slide right out and you will be able to change the batteries. If the cartridge doesn't slide right out, that could mean that the flashlight is corroded, which means the batteries were in for too long.
