We have a cat who likes to chew on computer cables. This tubing, when cut open lengthwise, wraps nicely around the cables to stop the risk of teeth marks cutting into the cable itself.

Q: In the description, it says it's flexible like rubber. How does it compare to surgical or latex rubber hose?

A: I would say it's more rigid. You can still easily bend it thought - but definitely not as flexible as a surgical latex rubber tube.
