Toilet tank connector kit

I purchased this kit to redo the connection between a toilet tank and its base. I had to disconnect the tank to try to unplug the toilet. This is when I noticed that the original connection was poorly made. So the kit was useful to redo the connection properly. One thing to note is that I had to use two extra rubber washers to insure a leak proof connection where the connecting bolts exit the tank. These washers were not part of the kit so I had to use extra ones I had.

Plumbshop is the worst stuff

Absolute garbage. The foam seal would not do its job, even after 2hrs of fiddling with placement. Leaked as badly as the old one. Bolts washers nuts are okay, just buy them separately
I keep buying plumbshop stuff as the Canadian Tire is close to my place. With all the time spent trying to get this brand to do its job is a nightmare though, and half the time it's really subpar quality anyway. Not anymore, time better spent driving to get good stuff
