Wood Cracked

Boards cracked easy. Top connecting boards had to be traced and new ones re-cut.
Climbing rope needed better instruction for proper installation.

3.5 Cool, but for the sale price

The slide cracked in three spots in the first week it was set up. It was on levelled ground and couldn’t be sun damaged yet…so not sure what would have happened, seeing how I have a petite two year old using it. Would be extremely upset if I paid the full price for this, but the sale price still made this product worth while. But just be warned that you have to have this slide on very sturdy levelled ground to avoid what I would imagine to be even worse cracking

Q: How long does this take to assemble? Does the package come with the neccesary screws etc?

A: Thank you for your question. At Plum we estimate that it will take 2 people 2 hours to assemble the My First Wooden Playcentre. All necessary hardware is included and we recommend using a drill, screwdriver and hammer to assemble.

Q: What are those three little black triangles with the plum logo on them for? I couldn’t make sense of how to install them in the instructions either? I just left them off for now...

A: These parts are important for the Plum My First Wooden Playcenter as they are Toggle Deflectors. They are there to prevent fingers from being trapped and provide stability to the product. The instructions for installing them are on pages 29 and 30 of the instruction manual. If you have lost your manual you can get a copy by emailing plumcservice@gmail.com.

Q: Is there a weight limit

A: For safety purposes probably but my daughter was playing woth her friend that is 50lbs. So their total weight was 80lbs +. But while climbing on the “A” frame, i dont allow them together for safety purposes.

A: We would recommend you install the Plum Play My First Outdoor Wooden Play Centre on grass. Please do not install it on any hard surface such as concrete or asphalt, also please ensure that it is located at least 2 meters away from any obstruction such as a fence or overhanging branches.
