I bought this thing three months ago. Every time we go to use it the auger don’t work.which it every weekend this summer.So I have to take it apart and try to fix it..I’m just about to throw it away..

We set it up and it hasn’t worked yet. The feeder spins, but when you add pellets it errors out. We had this same type of Pit boss for 3 years and the motor finally wore out. But this one is an issue from the start. We had to pick up this new one while on road as our one we had for 3 yrs died.

Q: Since we have a limited amount of pellets flavors available from pitboss, can we use the vermont castings pellets in this grill? Both grills are made by Danson. WIll it work?

A: Yes you can use Vermont Castings pellets or any 100% all-natural hardwood pellets that are meant for pellet grills. Never use pellets meant for heaters as they often contain softer wood and other impurities that can limit the effectiveness of the grill and affect the taste of your food.
