Pioneer FHX721BT 2-DIN Stereo

First the positive: I picked it up on special clearance, everything was easy including installation (Impreza) even though I had to recrimp all the wires to the new harness (why can't all radios have one standard connector? We're in the future already aren't we... ) configuration with my cell phone was easy, streams MP3s, Sirius XM app, Soundcloud, etc. very well, microphone wire is long enough to run along the edge of my windshield to atop the sun visor, power is good, sound quality is good and basic controls are easy to use once you figure them out. Negative: Glossy surface is a fingerprint magnet and also is incredibly reflective which makes the readout invisible during the day if it's sunny unless a real bright color like WHITE is used. EQ controls are buried too deep to be useful so it will be one of those "set it once and forget it" things except that if you like different types of music changing one EQ setting to another is a pain. For example going from classic 1990s rap music to the Simply Sinatra channel on Sirius... The main button (huge round button) is used for volume and navigation which is great but it's a bit too easy to push accidentally while simply changing volume. Once pushed if you don't realize it and are in a sub-menu you're going to muck up your radio's settings. Lastly it looks a bit ridiculous in an older vehicle like mine, fits fine in terms of size but it looks out of place, a bit like those new ugly condos stick out in an older neighbourhood. I'd still recommend it to friends.

C'est un excellent systeme pour le prix. La sonorite est exceptionnelle meme en mode Bluetooth. Impossible d'acceder a la bibliotheque par Android mais facilement avec IPhone. Compatible avec les commandes au volant avec un module externe. Tres difficile de lire les informations sur l'ecran en plein jour peu importe la couleur. Installation et configuration facile. Beaucoup d'informations transmises sur l'ecran.
