For safe charging in a moist environment (e.g. in a bathroom), only use an IPX4 (splash-proof) adapter. A suitable USB adapter (e.g. Philips HQ87) is available via www.philips.com/support.

Q: Description states "FULLY WATER RESISTANT" but the manual clearly states not to clean the POWER UNIT under the tap water - only the cutting heads/nose trimmer etc..........So what is correct??? Is it water resistant or NOT ?
2 years agoA: Hello! The Philips Multigroom Series 5000 is not water resistant. We do not recommend using this while bathing or in a shower. In cleaning, do not rinse the handle under the tap, only the attachments can be rinsed under the tap.
