I find it harder to load as there is nothing to grip. I would likely ether get a different style fishing kayak if I was to do it again. Having said that I thing it’s a good tuff sturdy kayak. Just not my favourite.

It can't get any worse, it literally sank.

Purchased it new yesterday to go kayaking today, after 2 hours out on the water the internal part of the kayak had taken on so much water that it started to sink, I was very fortunate I had a small bailing bucket with me. Took everything I had to make it back to shore, if I paddled to hard the water would come up over the front, if I leaned the slightest bit one way or the other, the water inside the kayak would slosh over and almost tip me over, it was terrifying. Once at shore it was to heavy to drag up on shore cause the internal portion was full of water. I have searched the kayak for the leak and can not see were it is getting in, it must be in the seam somewhere.
For the safety of people these should be tested for leaks before they are sold. I will be returning it tomorrow.

Decent but not great

Kayak is not very stable , compartments are difficult to reach without loosing stability. Stability 4/10. Difficult for entry/exit from a dock
Nice accessories
Not a lot of room to manage a fish. If you use the cup holder and phone holes we expect them to get fishy.
Cup holder does not fit Nalgene bottles
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I bought this kayak this year and have not used plugs, the description said it was self bailing. I have been out numerous times this summer and never had an issue with taking on water with no plugs

Q: Does the seat fold down , so you can put across on car top bars inside down ?

A: The seat back is soft and will bend if it touches the roof of your car. I strapped this to my roof rack and had no issues.

A: This is a one person kayak but I'm 230lbs and had my 2 year old on it with me for a short paddle/fish. It worked fairly well but this was on a small lake with no chop or any waves at all.
