A: PLASTIC! Serious flaw. Tube is fine stainless steel, very flexible. Then they put cheap plastic fittings, mine split in 9 months.

A: Hi Gail, Thank you for your interest in Peerless. If the connections are correct with your existing hose, yes it could be used as an extension. However, it is manufactured as a separate hand shower hose and is intended to run as a standalone. -Masco Canada/Peerless
