good luck replacing the sprayer

I bought this kitchen faucet in 2011. The sprayer started leaking - so I had to replace it. They sent me a new sprayer hose that came with a very small parts kit. What they didn't tell me was that I needed to replace the connector that stays on the connection pipe with a small part from the kit that clips onto the connector pipe on the faucet. The original clip won't fit into the new hose connector - it's too big. I about had a fit until I figured it out. They could have told me - or sent some instructions with it........thanks !!
