Write well but do not last long

I purchased several of these pens and I found that they wrote very well, so I really liked using them and they quickly became my go-to pens. However, they stopped working only a couple of months after I got them, so I was pretty disappointed. I cut open one of these pens' ink tube to see how much ink was in it, and from the ink residues along the inside of the tube I measured that there was only 1.5 inches of ink in the tube (1/3 of the ink tube was filled), which I found deceiving. However, people who do not use pens very often might be happy with these pens because they do write very well.

A: Hi Azucy, Thanks for reaching out. The Paper Mate InkJoy 100ST line in the U.S. is officially offered only in medium point (1.0 mm) ballpoints—both stick and retractable versions are marketed in this size. Paper Mate does not currently produce a 0.7 mm version under the 100ST name in the U.S. market. However, outside the U.S., such as in the U.K. and France, the InkJoy 100ST is available in a fine point 0.7 mm variant . Those editions are not typically sold through domestic U.S. retailers, which might explain why you're only finding 1.0 mm versions available. If you're keen on having the 0.7 mm, you could try importing from an international seller—or consider the InkJoy 100RT or 300RT lines, which occasionally come in finer tip sizes domestically.
