Defrost Timer Popcorn

As soon as you plug this thing in, press the following keys: Defrost, Timer, Popcorn. Otherwise your first microwave experience will not be so good, as it holds your food random some. (The door auto-locks, after it microwaves something). The buttons i list, will disable that feature. It will however, return enabled after a power outage. So just remember, these buttons.
Otherwise, no complaints. Clean design, good microwave. Lots of room in it, and quiet operation.
The door open button is clearly marked on this unit as well, but (if your not expecting it to auto-lock) it can be confusing. Don't throw out the door sticker, as that also has the button combo on it.
Good microwave though.

It works fine . I am Just a bit annoyed I have to press a button first before unlocking the door but I guess it’s good for the elderly , disabled people or children who shouldn’t be using the microwave due to safety reasons.

A: As I have suggested in my review which should appear here soon. Get some Scotch or other brand of "invisible" tape and prepare a double layer longer than the width of the display. Cut it to the length that just covers the display and stick it on. Reduces the brightness just enough. One layer was not enough. Three layers might be what some might want to do to get it dim enough.

Q: Are the outside dimensions (Height (in) 11.81 in, Depth (in) 17 1/2 in and Width (in) 21.22 in, accurate as in the specs ? I previously purchased a microwave that did not have the right dimensions in the specs.

A: Yes! Dimensions are as indicated. When purchasing having the right dimensions was critical for us. This item was correct.
