Terrific microwave!
Well made and handsomely styled. It conveys a sense of quality both with the controls and the door mechanism. A few ‘quirks’ which are spelled out in the manual and on-line in the FAQ it functions perfectly. Highly recommended.

OK features. Very poor functionality

We bought this to replace a previous Panasonic model that was 7 years old. The oven works well and the features are OK. However, the buttons are so hard to push that the oven moves on the shelf when pushing them. Panasonic says this is normal.
Also when starting a second job, you have to push the cancel button before the buttons are live. However, this seems to time out so that after some time, this is no longer necessary. Again, Panasonic says this is normal.
Overall, I would not recommend this or buy it again.

Q: once the microwave finishes cooking and beeps, does the control face go back to the clock? some mentioned you had to push stop/reset to get it back to the clock face, that seems like an unnecessary step?

A: The clock time appears but I have noted that it you want to cook again immediately you have to press the stop/reset button or it won’t accept the new cook instructions. For example, you cooked an item on Hi 5 minutes, it beeps done, but you need to cook for another 2 minutes, you can’t just press Hi 2 min, it doesn’t accept. You have to press stop/cancel then enter Hi 2 min to set the function, which is a bit of a pain & yes an extra step.

A: Correct, the stop/reset will have to be pressed in order to cancel the last program. Quick 30 pad can also be used to add more time during manual cooking.

A: this is a model # LL-ST77LS . 20 in. Deep (front to back ) , 12 in high (counter to top) , and 22in wide (at front) . Should have some space for air to circulate
