Designed in Canada, this portable compact ice maker produces large and small bullet ice, so you can enjoy your shaken cocktails, sodas, water and more with the perfect kind of ice every time. Able to produce ice in less than seven minutes, this plastic ice maker has a large window so adults and kids alike can enjoy watching the ice form and fall into the glass. Equipped with a water reservoir capacity of 2.8 L (0.7 US gal), this small portable ice maker has indicators that show when the water level is low, the ice basket is full or when it needs to be cleaned. The handy controls on the Secret-Until-Lit touchscreen disappear when not in use to ensure a sleek look on your countertop. This PADERNO ice maker can produce about 33 lb (15 kg) of ice in just 24 hours, so you can always have ice on hand. There's a drain hole at the bottom for easy cleaning and a plastic ice bucket and scoop come included.

broke just out side of warranty. and it's just a little plastic piece that failed, but like everything at Canadian Tire you can't get the parts for.

Great ice machine

Excellent ice-making machine. Makes 2 large zip-loc bags in 2-3 hours. Need to empty the bucket half-way through, if you are making a full batch.

Great machine so far, still quite loud because the ice is so big and the container has no insulation to keep the sound inside. But otherwise, works great so far!

Q: How do I put to cleaning mode?

A: Fill the water recervoir with fresh water. Pressing the Setting Selection Button until the Cleaning Cycle indicator is on. Then press the Power Button to go into cleaning mode. In cleaning mode, the pump will run for 6 minutes.

Q: Does this keep ice cold? Or does it require it to be transferred to the freezer? I'd prefer the soft ice and not deep freeze hard.
