3 years agoA: I doubt it but so far we've only sliced bacon with it. It is a good quality slicer, I would ask Paderna.

5 years agoA: Hello, thank you for your question. The gears are made of plastic however the motor is not. Based on our testing, the gears can sustain a total of 100 hours of normal operation. Our durable plastic gears and a DC motor offer a quieter operation than metal gears. Hope this helps.
