Q: Is this pot safe for cooking and storing acidic food, such as sour cabbage rolls or tomato soup?

A: Yes, this pot is coated with a non-stick coating that will separate the acidic food from the aluminum pot material. This will prevent any reaction od the aluminum to the acids which can create a “tinny” flavour.
