Q: I purchased the Paderno Classics 3 qt. pan and it says that it is good for all stove tops. I have a gas stove top and it seems that the black shorter handle gets really hot and start melting. I would like to return it because this becomes a safety issue

A: Lower the flame. Does not need to be on high because it has an excellent heat distribution..

Q: Hi I bought paderbi classic nonstick jumbo cooker I used it 3 times for first time use only I can see scratches on the pan I used only wooden spoon and 8 washed it with hand

A: I've had mine for about a year. It has warped on a glass top range and the surface is scratched despite only using plastic utensils and hand washing.

A: This pan can be used for deep frying but as with all cookware, it is important to ensure that the proper temperature setting is used (low-med, not high) and care is taken if using gas stovetops, to ensure that the burner flame does not extend beyond the diameter of the base of the pan.

Q: There is a question above asking about the pan being dishwasher safe. The packaging says that is it not; however, the Canadian Tire website advises that it is. Can you clarify which is correct and does it also apply to the 20 cm non-stick pan as well.
