Q: Is this a one time application when used for a butcher block? Or something that would have to be reapplied on a regular basis? I'm looking for something to permanently seal an Acacia solid hardwood kitchen counter top.

A: This mineral oil should solely be used on wood products ex. Cutting boards, butcher blocks, wood utensils. It should not be used on carbon steel knives with the intent of preventing rusting.
