The Metabo HPT 36V 3/4-in Brushless Impact Wrench delivers powerful tightening and nut-busting torque with cordless convenience. Powered by a 36V battery or AC adapter, it generates up to 812 ft-lbs of tightening torque and 1,328 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque at 1,500 RPM with 2,900 BPM. The variable speed trigger enables precise control for any task. With a 3/4-in square drive, built-in LED light, and four speed settings, this IP56-rated impact wrench is designed for durability and performance. The brushless motor provides extended runtime and increased power while minimizing maintenance needs. With the metal belt hook, this cordless impact wrench is always within reach on the jobsite.

Impressive power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently needed to remove the wheels from an Isuzu NPR that I historically use a 1" impact wrench. This day the air hose was too long or my 1" gun is getting old, not sure, but the 1" just wasn't going to get the nuts off. I was hopeful but skeptical as to whether the smaller Metabo HPT 3/4" cordless impact would do any better than the trusty 1" but to my surprise and relief the 3/4" cordless actually zipped the 41 mm nuts off as if was a Honda. The torque this gun puts out is impressive, it's not much bigger or heavier if at all than my Milwaukee 1/2" gun but it really does have way more power. I also really like how the 36V battery can be used in an 18V tool with double the Ah. To me, this feature makes this purchase more versatile- honestly, this isn't a tool I'll use every day, just when I need the extra punch, so having a battery I can share across tools is a real plus.

I bought this tool with a specific job in mind, removing a crankshaft bolt. It far exceeded my expectations. Since that time I have used it for several other applications, brake calibers, rusted anchor bots, etc. Nothing has bogged this tool down. Just exceptional. One of my best purchases ever.

Beast Mode!

I love this thing! I work in the oil and gas industry and have to tighten up and torque down hundreds of 2 5/8 bolts all day with messed up threads. This things has no issues and just keeps going. I’ve even got my buddy a Milwaukee fan boy to convert to team green. Working in all kinds of outdoor environments the IP56 rating on this has also come in clutch for those days we get dust storms or and freak thunderstorms in W. Texas. Can’t say enough good things about this. Last thing, it also looks really good!

I got the 3/4 impact and I have not come across anything that I cannot break loose I actually have all the impact drills oscillating tools. Everything and I would highly recommend them to anybody. I think they’re up there with some of the bigger name, brands and performance.
