The Mastercraft No.4 Smooth Plane is a useful tool for woodworking touch-ups. Ideal for general-purpose smooth planing or finishing work, this block plane is designed to provide great precision and accuracy. This smooth plane is built with an adjustable tungsten steel blade which is great for making precise cuts. The large adjusting screw on this no 4 plane provides fast and accurate adjustments. This number 4 plane features a precision-ground base and sides allow for smooth planning. Thanks to a lifetime warranty, this smoothing plane offers excellent longevity.

Surgical precision is possible with this handy tool.

Electric planers are great but you cannot be precise the way a hand planer can. This is made with good quality steel and other materials. It lets me pinpoint the areas that need planing without over gouging.
