Not long lasting

We bought this a couple years ago. Yesterday, it started to beep on its own, even though it was not turned on. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, the digital display went showed the timer function at 20:00 and immediately quickly counted down to 0, in about 3 seconds. The power light is lit red, but does nothing when pushed nor does it turn on. I expected a longer life out of a Black and Decker.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Design flaw in the metal door hinge

This is our second time buying this model (we love the rotisserie function!) and the second time that the door has broken. The hinge has a design defect where it depends on a bend in the metal hinge to provide resistance to keep the door closed. The hinge lasts about 1.5 years in my experience. The Canadian Tire website states a 1 year warranty which is why we purchased a second unit. Having read the replies to different comments on this forum I understand there is a two year warranty so I will reach out for an exchange or refund.
TLDR
**Buyer beware the door hinge will eventually break and you will not be able to keep the door closed**
No, I do not recommend this product.

Electronics settings have a mind of there own

Bought this oven for my daughter as a house warming gift ....2 years and the eletronics are acting up. temperture settings keep changing from °F to °C. I set temperture at 350F 2 min later the temperture settings raise to 450F on there own ....As a life long supporter of B.D including alot of my tools, I am quite disappointed. Had told my daughter that this brand was the best ....maybe 30 yrs ago.Now not so much . :(

Dead after a couple of years.

I bought this about 2 years ago and it was running perfect until last week. We heard a loud bang and electrical smell in the kitchen and and noticed that the upper elements would not turn on. Tried all the settings but both upper elements are dead. Nice unit but reliability is poor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Yes you should be able to as this is an oven not a microwave. But the other person is incorrect in saying that this uses infrared. Its a convection oven which as far as I know does not use infrared. Correct me if im wrong though!

Q: Can you set the temperature in increments of 25 (even numbers) for example 425°? Some digital toaster ovens can only be set in even numbers.
