Broke first time plugging in

I bought this hot air popper after reading the reviews because I thought my old one was breaking. I finally got it out of the box to use it and plugged it in to the outlet and heard a popping sound and smelled smoke. I unplugged it and waited a little bit and tried again and heard a weird sound and smelled smoke again. Now it’s sitting in a box. Im very disappointed with my purchase especially since I never got to try it out.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This popcorn popper holds true to its name. The easy popper is an excellent popcorn popper. The design is sleek and cool. It is fast and pops all of the kernels of corn. It is very easy clean up and absolutely adorable.

A: All air poppers are much more noisy than a stir popper. Think about it like this, hot air has to be circulating. It's basically a hair dryer. It might be quieter than the ones I grew up with in the 80's but not by much. Think about how far hair dryers have come in terms of noise. You'll figure it out.

A: No this product does NOT require oil. That is the beauty of it. Simply pour kernels into machine and turn on. It's awesome!!!

Q: I have more Kernels that doesn’t pop in this machine. Popcorn is really good but it would be nice if it all popped. How do you fix that?

A: Preheat the machine before adding popcorn kernels, the kernels sit on the hot surface immediately. I get very little unpopped kernels.
