The Energizer 120-Watt Foldable Portable Solar Panel collects energy from the sun and converts it into free power to recharge batteries, smartphones, and tablets anywhere. The compact, portable design features magnetic buckles for easy folding and unfolding, a removable shoulder strap for convenience, mounting grommets to secure it in place, and an integrated kickstand so you can position it towards the sun for maximum efficiency. The versatile panel works with Arc3 and Arc5 power stations as well as most third-party power stations and lead acid batteries, though a charge controller and adaptors may be required.

Q: how long are the cables and what gauge are they
2 years agoA: Don't know about the gauge but the cable is relatively short. Maybe 6 feet. Long enough to place the pannels on the roof of my van and run the cable through a window.

Q: What charge controller do I need to connect to a 12v battery?????
2 years agoA: Hello, We can certainly assist you with this matter. You will need an external charge controller that is compatible with a 12v battery and the MC4 output on Solar panel. Q: Are these solar panels waterproof and winterproof? Some portable solar panels are not and are too delicate to be used outdoors in inclement weather which makes them useless, that's when you really need them.

Q: What adapters would I need to connect this solar panel to a standard trailer 12 volt lead-acid battery, specifically. And I would need MC4 extension cords that would have to connect to thes adapters as the panel would be far away from the trailer perhaps.
3 years agoA: Sorry but I wanted to avoid this very problem, so I bought the ARC 5 and the solar panels together. They cost me $1100 but it was worth it to me because the system is so simple to set up and use.
