Saw this great priced folder on the Canadian Tire website and noticed in the pictures it has a thumb stud! Yay! I prefer thumb studs on my knives. I whipped down to my local store and picked one up! when I got home and removed it from the packaging I noticed it did NOT have a thumb stud as illustrated. Frustrating but still a good price on the knife. I went back to the store later in hopes of buying another WITH the thumb stud. I had the associate go through all of the knives with that item number and none of them had the thumb stud. the associate suggested they may have used a pic of a different knife in the ad... that doesn't seem right!?

Bought the knife the night before camping, only to find that the blade won't close shut. Completely frozen in the open position it was sold in. Nearly sliced myself open trying to Close it. It shouldn't ever take that amount of force to attempt to close. Dangerous and a waste of time.
