They don’t last

If you buy them count on them lasting no longer than 2 seasons. I use them to take my docks out in the fall and put the docks back in the spring After two years they leak This is probably the 5th pair I have bought, but I can’t find anything better. At least I only use them for 3 hours each season and them leaking does kill me

Best waders for the price.

Size 11 fits perfect. Son is 5’8” and about 145lbs. Lots of room in waders will easily fit 5’10” 240lbs.

Q: I normally buy one size down in waders ... size 9 when normally I buy size 10 in shoes/boots. I’m 170lbs and fit, do the boots fit loose? Would you recommend staying at my normal boot size or buying smaller?

Q: I am a size 11-11.5 shoe, 6 foot to 6ft1, and 200-210 lbs. I was thinking about getting size 12 do you think that will be too big? Please let me know what size I should I get instead?

  • A: Size 12 would be the perfect fit for both shoe and top body fit. It's what we got for my son who takes the same size in boot and weighs 195 to 200 lbs

  • A: When I compared the boots to the picture, It seems to be the patch that was supposed to be glued to the butt of the boots. I didn’t use it for anything and my waders are almost 3 now and still leak free

Q: How are online shoppers (such as myself) expected to know what size to order? Some comments mention shoe size while the sizing in the ad makes no reference to shoe size but instead offers (as an example) s, m or Large. Come on CTC, do better!!!

  • A: if you go instore it shows shoe size but I wouldnt buy anyways, my sons leaked after less than 12 months

Q: I have a small tear on the knee, what do you suggest to patch this?

1 Answer
  • A: My pants came with a sheet of material for repairs. If you cannot find that, I would suggest contacting an outdoors store like MEC for repair kits. I believe that a bike tube repair kit would work as well. Hope that helps. Guy

Q: Same question Mike had 8 months ago with no answer... Why are the buckles on the shoulder straps not the same on each side? I bought these waders last week, I have the straps adjusted to max and the right shoulder strap keeps falling off my shoulder.

1 Answer
  • A: The buckles are not the same (one male and one female) so that you can buckle them together to tie them around you (your neck or waist) if you need to lower the pants but don't want the straps to fall on the ground or in the water...

Q: There is two 1ft square pieces of neoprene? in the box with the waders. What is this for? Doesn't seem like a patching material like you would use on rubber.

1 Answer
  • A: The neoprene material is used for packaging purposes – to protect the shoes from squeezing. It is not a patching kit as the wader does not include that.
