Disappointed

I bought this skillet 4 years ago. Used it occasionally for stir fries and pancakes. It never did heat evenly but recently it quit altogether. Guess I can still use the pan in the oven but that’s not what I bought it for.

Poor finish

I got this about a year ago. I do like the two-part frying pan for cleaning, but the surface of the frying pan is terrible. It comes off. I have a picture of what mine looks like after about 10 months of use. We did not abuse it. Another thing is The frypan is curved in the middle so things like pancakes and eggs slide off to the side when you cook.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We absolutely love this skillet. Being able to remove the skillet from the base makes it so easy to clean. We cannot find this in any stores now... Gotta get a new one

Q: Is this bioceramic? The shelf tag said it was, but the packaging at my store doesn't. One of the reviews says the coating peels off, so that would suggest it isn't.

For the Oster Non-Stick Electric Skillet units were bioceramic but we did a rolling change and the new ones being shipped are no longer bioceramic. Some stores may still have inventory of both bioceramic and non-bioceramic units or possibly have not updated shelf tags yet. We hope this helps.
