I'm so glad I decided to buy the Omega Horizontal Slow Juicer. I was tired of making carrot juice in my Vitamix, which created a thick, pulpy juice that went bad after just a few days. The Omega juicer was a bit of an investment, but I couldn't be happier with the results. It completely removes the pulp, leaving you with a smooth, rich juice. A: It's similar. The only difference that I can tell is that it does not have the Medical Medium attachment that squeezes out the juice to the same degree. It's close though and it's otherwise the same. I asked Anthony William if I can buy that special attachment separately for my machine, but never received an answer.

A: I called our local Canadian tire store and there is a warning on the side of the box that says it exposes you to bpa. I called omega and they said the same thing that it contains bpa.

Q: Can this be used similar to a food pulper? Looking to throw in a whole tomato or apple, and extract the pulp/juice but leave seeds/skins behind I'm looking for something similar to a tomato press, or a food mill where you can throw in whole fruits/veggies and it will extract the puree (not just the juice) and leave behind the hard pieces (skin/seeds).

A: i don't think so. It is the best juicer for leafy greens and juicing a mix of vegetable textures: soft, hard, leafy; not used properly if all you need is a pulp maker. maybe you need a pulper - if there's one.

Q: What is the warranty policy? I am researching for a slow juicer but couldn't nail it down because when I read the reviews, many of them had issues having parts or services to be shipped from overseas and been waiting for too long.
