A: Unfortunately no, the Vacuum pump cannot be used on air conditioning. This hand pumped vacuum with not generate sufficient vacuum to service the A/C.

The tool parts pictured are not what is in the packaging for this part number. Canadian Tire needs to work on updating listing names and descriptions as they change their inventory line. The pump that is actually in this kit is one that we already had, and was not working for the job. So this purchase was returned immediately.(August 2025)

this is honestly the absolute worst quality tool I have ever used. I was able to bleed two brake calipers, which was a MAJOR pain because the handle kept falling off and it has horrrrible suction, it kept reintroducing air into the system because the suction would fail. It took about an hour to bleed two calipers...got to the third caliper and it won't hold suction at all. I can't get any fluid into the hose at all. Absolute garbage. I'm a tradesperson, I know very well that Canadian Tire sells a lot of junk, therefore my expectations are always low...my already low expectations weren't nearly low enough for this tool. Shame on Canadian Tire for continuing to sell this junk.

The vacuum DID NOT work from the time I purchased it. It also does not look like the picture, but this is the same item number for Canadian Tire and the manufacturer number on the package so it's the one I bought.
