Q: Is there a mistake in the spec about the max operating temp (60 C )? How could it be so low. Normally, isn't ideal condition supposed to be around 80 C?

A: You are correct. Maximum operating temperature is ~80C. Pretty much all units, from entry-level CVTs to performance oriented DCT, across most manufacturers will operate nominally between 70C to 85C. I am not sure where the 60C max operating temperature came from, but we will verify all spec claims on this product to ensure there are no more errors.
